**STARTSPORT** **TERMS AND CONDITIONS** **Effective Date:** Once Published **Last Updated:** September, 2026 **Version:** 1.0 **IMPORTANT NOTICE** PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE ACCESSING, REGISTERING WITH, OR USING THE STARTSPORT PLATFORM. BY ACCESSING THE WEBSITE, CREATING AN ACCOUNT, SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION, MAKING A PAYMENT, USING ANY PLATFORM FEATURE, OR OTHERWISE USING ANY SERVICE PROVIDED THROUGH STARTSPORT, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREED TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, TOGETHER WITH ANY POLICIES, RULES, GUIDELINES, PROCEDURES, AND DOCUMENTS INCORPORATED INTO THEM BY REFERENCE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, YOU MUST NOT ACCESS OR USE STARTSPORT. **1. DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION** For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions: **1.1 "StartSport", "we", "us", "our" or "Platform"** means StartSport and/or the legal entity operating, owning, controlling, or licensing the StartSport platform, including its website, mobile applications, software, databases, systems, technology, content, services, and related digital infrastructure. **Legal Entity:** Startsport.co International an Egyptian Limited Liability Company **Web:** \[startsport.co\] **1.2 "Platform"** means the StartSport website, mobile application, web application, dashboards, databases, communication systems, APIs, digital interfaces, and any other digital environment operated or controlled by StartSport. **1.3 "User"** means any person who accesses, browses, registers with, or uses StartSport. **1.4 "Student"** means a User who registers or uses StartSport for the purpose of discovering, applying for, participating in, or completing an internship opportunity. **1.5 "Applicant"** means any Student who submits an application for an Internship Opportunity. **1.6 "University"** means any university, college, educational institution, academic body, student affairs department, career office, or similar educational organisation registered or represented on StartSport. **1.7 "Sports Organisation"** means any sports club, federation, academy, company, agency, event organiser, facility, sports business, sports institution, or other organisation offering or participating in an Internship Opportunity. **1.8 "Internship Provider"** means a Sports Organisation or other entity that provides, sponsors, hosts, supervises, or participates in an Internship Opportunity. **1.9 "Internship Opportunity"** means any internship, practical training, educational experience, professional exposure, placement opportunity, programme, workshop, training programme, or similar opportunity displayed or made available through StartSport. **1.10 "Application"** means an application submitted by a Student for an Internship Opportunity. **1.11 "Application Fee"** means any amount payable by a User in connection with applying for an Internship Opportunity or accessing a paid StartSport service. **1.12 "Content"** means all text, images, photographs, videos, audio, documents, logos, trademarks, profiles, reviews, applications, data, information, communications, and other material submitted, uploaded, displayed, transmitted, or made available through the Platform. **1.13 "Account"** means a registered User account created on StartSport. **1.14 "Personal Data"** has the meaning assigned to it under applicable data protection legislation. **1.15 "Applicable Law"** means all laws, regulations, executive regulations, judicial decisions, regulatory requirements, and mandatory governmental rules applicable to StartSport, the User, or the relevant transaction. **1.16 "Terms"** means these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time. **2. ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS** **2.1** These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between the User and StartSport. **2.2** By using StartSport, the User confirms that: a\. the User has read these Terms; b\. the User understands these Terms; c\. the User accepts these Terms; d\. the User has legal capacity to enter into this agreement; e\. all information supplied to StartSport is accurate and complete; f\. the User will comply with Applicable Law; and g\. the User will comply with all StartSport policies and rules. **2.3** Where the User is below the legal age required to independently enter into a binding agreement under Applicable Law, the User must obtain the consent of a parent, legal guardian, or other legally authorised person where required. **2.4** StartSport may require documentary evidence of age, identity, authority, university affiliation, academic status, or any other information necessary to verify eligibility. **3. NATURE OF STARTSPORT** **3.1** StartSport is a digital platform that facilitates access to and administration of sports-related internship and professional development opportunities. **3.2** Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, StartSport is not: a\. an employer; b\. a recruitment agency; c\. a staffing agency; d\. an employment placement agency; e\. an educational institution; f\. an academic degree provider; g\. an internship provider; h\. an employer of any Student; i\. an agent of any Internship Provider; or j\. a guarantor of employment, academic credit, professional qualification, or future employment. **3.3** StartSport's role is primarily to provide the technological infrastructure through which Users may discover, review, apply for, and manage Internship Opportunities and related services. **3.4** The actual internship experience may be provided, supervised, managed, modified, postponed, or cancelled by the relevant Internship Provider. **3.5** StartSport does not guarantee that participation in an Internship Opportunity will result in employment, employment offers, academic credit, professional licensing, income, promotion, or any other future benefit unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. **4. PLATFORM ACCESS** **4.1** StartSport grants Users a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable right to access and use the Platform for its intended purposes. **4.2** This licence does not transfer ownership of any StartSport intellectual property to the User. **4.3** StartSport may, at its sole discretion and subject to Applicable Law: a\. restrict access; b\. suspend access; c\. terminate accounts; d\. remove Content; e\. refuse registration; f\. refuse applications; g\. restrict particular features; h\. limit the number of applications; i\. introduce eligibility criteria; j\. impose technical restrictions; k\. discontinue any feature; l\. modify the Platform; m\. modify the interface; n\. change the availability of opportunities; and o\. introduce additional verification requirements. **5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION** **5.1** Certain StartSport services require the User to create an Account. **5.2** The User must provide accurate, complete, current, and truthful information. **5.3** The User must immediately update any information that becomes inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. **5.4** The User is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of: a\. passwords; b\. login credentials; c\. verification codes; d\. authentication information; and e\. any other Account security information. **5.5** The User is fully responsible for all activities conducted through the User's Account unless the User demonstrates that the activity resulted solely from a security breach not caused by the User's negligence or misconduct. **5.6** The User must immediately notify StartSport of any suspected: a\. unauthorised access; b\. account compromise; c\. credential theft; d\. fraudulent activity; or e\. security incident. **5.7** Users may not: a\. create multiple Accounts for the purpose of circumventing Platform restrictions; b\. create Accounts using false identities; c\. impersonate another person; d\. use another person's Account; e\. sell or transfer Accounts; f\. allow unauthorised persons to use their Account; or g\. provide false verification information. **6. IDENTITY AND VERIFICATION** **6.1** StartSport may verify a User's identity, age, nationality, academic status, university affiliation, professional background, or other information. **6.2** Verification may include: a\. email verification; b\. telephone verification; c\. identity documentation; d\. university documentation; e\. academic records; f\. professional documents; g\. photographs; h\. third-party verification services; or i\. any other reasonable verification mechanism. **6.3** StartSport may refuse, suspend, or terminate an Account where verification cannot reasonably be completed. **6.4** Submission of documents does not create any obligation on StartSport to approve an Account or Application. **7. INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES** **7.1** Internship Opportunities may be offered by third-party Internship Providers. **7.2** StartSport may display information relating to an Internship Opportunity, including: a\. Internship Provider; b\. country; c\. city; d\. department; e\. duration; f\. learning objectives; g\. required skills; h\. responsibilities; i\. mentor or supervisor; j\. weekly tasks; k\. evaluation process; l\. certificate information; m\. eligibility requirements; n\. application deadline; o\. fees; p\. available places; and q\. other relevant information. **7.3** StartSport does not guarantee that information supplied by an Internship Provider will remain unchanged. **7.4** Internship Providers may amend: a\. dates; b\. duration; c\. location; d\. programme structure; e\. supervisor; f\. responsibilities; g\. number of available places; h\. eligibility requirements; or i\. other programme details. **7.5** Where reasonably practicable, StartSport may communicate material changes to affected Users. **7.6** StartSport reserves the right to suspend, remove, replace, or discontinue any Internship Opportunity at any time where reasonably necessary, including where an Internship Provider withdraws or fails to comply with StartSport requirements. **8. APPLICATION PROCESS** **8.1** Submitting an Application does not necessarily mean that the Applicant has been accepted into the Internship Opportunity. **8.2** Applications may be subject to: a\. eligibility screening; b\. document review; c\. identity verification; d\. academic verification; e\. Internship Provider review; f\. interviews; g\. assessments; h\. availability; i\. payment confirmation; and/or j\. other selection criteria. **8.3** StartSport may establish application procedures, deadlines, eligibility requirements, and screening processes. **8.4** StartSport may reject an Application where: a\. information is incomplete; b\. information is inaccurate; c\. documents are missing; d\. eligibility requirements are not satisfied; e\. the User has violated these Terms; f\. the opportunity is unavailable; g\. the Application is fraudulent; h\. the User has exceeded permitted application limits; or i\. rejection is otherwise permitted under Applicable Law. **9. APPLICATION FEES** **9.1** Certain Internship Opportunities may require payment of an Application Fee. **9.2** The applicable fee will be displayed before the relevant payment is completed. **9.3** The User is responsible for reviewing: a\. the amount; b\. currency; c\. applicable taxes; d\. payment conditions; e\. refund conditions; and f\. any additional charges before completing payment. **9.4** Unless expressly stated otherwise, payment of an Application Fee provides access to the relevant application process and does not constitute: a\. purchase of employment; b\. purchase of an academic qualification; c\. purchase of a guaranteed job; d\. purchase of a guaranteed future opportunity; or e\. ownership of an Internship Opportunity. **9.5** Where a specific Internship Opportunity expressly states that payment guarantees the Applicant's admission or participation, such guarantee shall be limited to the precise terms stated for that Opportunity and shall remain subject to the Applicant satisfying all stated eligibility, documentation, behavioural, legal, travel, visa, and other requirements. **9.6** StartSport shall not be responsible for costs incurred by the Applicant outside the Application Fee, including: a\. visa fees; b\. passport fees; c\. flights; d\. accommodation; e\. transportation; f\. meals; g\. insurance; h\. medical expenses; i\. personal expenses; j\. travel documents; k\. embassy fees; or l\. any other third-party expense, unless expressly stated otherwise. **10. PAYMENT PROCESSING** **10.1** Payments may be processed through third-party payment service providers. **10.2** StartSport does not store full payment-card information where payment processing is performed by a third-party payment processor. **10.3** Users agree to comply with the applicable terms of the relevant payment provider. **10.4** StartSport is not responsible for: a\. bank declines; b\. payment processor outages; c\. card restrictions; d\. currency conversion differences; e\. bank charges; f\. international transaction fees; or g\. delays caused by financial institutions. **11. REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS** **11.1** Refund rights shall be determined by: a\. the specific Internship Opportunity terms; b\. StartSport's applicable refund policy; c\. the applicable payment terms; and d\. mandatory Applicable Law. **11.2** StartSport may specify that certain fees are non-refundable where legally permissible. **11.3** Where an Internship Opportunity is cancelled by StartSport or the Internship Provider, StartSport may, subject to the applicable circumstances and Applicable Law: a\. provide a replacement opportunity; b\. transfer the Application to another opportunity; c\. provide a credit; d\. provide a partial refund; or e\. provide a full refund. **11.4** The applicable remedy may depend on the reason for cancellation and the terms communicated for the relevant Opportunity. **11.5** No refund shall be interpreted as being available where the User: a\. voluntarily withdraws after a stated non-refundable deadline; b\. fails to satisfy eligibility requirements; c\. submits fraudulent information; d\. breaches these Terms; e\. fails to provide required documentation; f\. fails to attend without an accepted reason; g\. is refused entry into another country for immigration reasons; h\. fails to obtain a required visa; i\. fails to comply with the Internship Provider's requirements; or j\. causes cancellation through the User's own misconduct, except where Applicable Law requires otherwise. **12. TRAVEL, VISA AND INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES** **12.1** For international Internship Opportunities, the Applicant is solely responsible for obtaining all required: a\. passports; b\. visas; c\. travel authorisations; d\. immigration approvals; e\. health documents; f\. insurance; g\. vaccinations; h\. permits; and i\. other legally required documents. **12.2** StartSport does not guarantee visa issuance, immigration approval, border admission, or entry into any country. **12.3** Visa decisions are made exclusively by the relevant governmental authorities. **12.4** StartSport is not responsible for losses resulting from visa refusal, delayed visa processing, border refusal, travel restrictions, airline cancellation, or governmental action. **13. USER RESPONSIBILITIES** Every User shall: a\. use the Platform lawfully; b\. provide accurate information; c\. respect other Users; d\. comply with Internship Provider requirements; e\. comply with University requirements where applicable; f\. comply with applicable travel and immigration laws; g\. protect Account credentials; h\. pay applicable fees; i\. attend accepted programmes where required; j\. behave professionally; k\. respect confidential information; l\. avoid fraudulent activity; and m\. comply with these Terms. **14. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES** The User shall not: a\. impersonate another person; b\. submit fraudulent documents; c\. falsify academic information; d\. falsify professional experience; e\. manipulate application data; f\. create fraudulent Accounts; g\. circumvent Platform restrictions; h\. interfere with Platform security; i\. introduce malware; j\. conduct scraping without written authorisation; k\. reverse engineer the Platform; l\. attempt unauthorised access; m\. use automated bots without permission; n\. harvest User data; o\. sell Platform access; p\. resell Internship Opportunities; q\. use StartSport to conduct fraud; r\. use StartSport for illegal activities; s\. harass or threaten other Users; t\. upload unlawful Content; u\. upload malicious files; v\. infringe intellectual property rights; w\. attempt to manipulate reviews or ratings; x\. provide misleading information about an Internship Provider; y\. interfere with another User's Application; z\. use the Platform for competitive intelligence or unauthorised commercial purposes; or aa. undertake any activity that may damage StartSport, its Users, partners, reputation, systems, or commercial interests. **15. UNIVERSITY ACCOUNTS** **15.1** Universities may receive access to dedicated administrative functionality. **15.2** University functionality may include information regarding Students associated with that University, subject to applicable permissions and data protection requirements. **15.3** University dashboards may include: a\. number of registered Students; b\. Student profiles; c\. Application information; d\. selected Internship Opportunities; e\. participation status; f\. completion information; g\. certificates; and h\. other permitted academic or platform information. **15.4** A University shall not automatically receive direct access to Sports Organisations through StartSport unless StartSport expressly enables such functionality. **15.5** StartSport may act as the intermediary through which University requests relating to Internship Opportunities are communicated to relevant Sports Organisations. **15.6** StartSport may provide Universities with additional services, dashboards, analytics, reports, or administrative tools. **16. SPORTS ORGANISATION ACCOUNTS** **16.1** Sports Organisations may create profiles and publish Internship Opportunities subject to StartSport approval. **16.2** Sports Organisations must ensure that all information supplied to StartSport is accurate. **16.3** Sports Organisations must not publish unlawful, discriminatory, fraudulent, misleading, or unsafe opportunities. **16.4** StartSport may review, edit, reject, suspend, or remove any Internship Opportunity. **16.5** StartSport may request supporting documentation from an Internship Provider. **16.6** Failure to provide requested documentation may result in suspension or removal. **17. NO EMPLOYMENT RELATIONSHIP** **17.1** Use of StartSport does not create an employment relationship between: a\. StartSport and a Student; b\. StartSport and an Internship Provider; c\. StartSport and a University; or d\. a Student and StartSport, unless expressly established under a separate written agreement. **17.2** Participation in an Internship Opportunity does not automatically create an employment relationship between the Student and the Internship Provider. **17.3** Any employment relationship resulting from an Internship Opportunity shall be governed by a separate agreement between the relevant parties. **18. AI AND AUTOMATED FEATURES** **18.1** StartSport may use artificial intelligence, machine learning, automated matching, recommendation systems, data analysis, or automated decision-support tools. **18.2** AI-generated recommendations are provided for informational and platform-assistance purposes. **18.3** AI recommendations do not constitute: a\. professional legal advice; b\. career guarantees; c\. employment guarantees; d\. admission decisions; e\. immigration advice; or f\. a binding decision by an Internship Provider. **18.4** StartSport may modify or discontinue AI functionality at any time. **18.5** StartSport may use automated systems to identify: a\. suspicious activity; b\. duplicate Accounts; c\. fraudulent Applications; d\. abusive behaviour; e\. security threats; f\. policy violations; and g\. other Platform risks. **18.6** StartSport may conduct human review where it considers such review necessary or appropriate. **19. USER CONTENT** **19.1** Users retain ownership of Content that they lawfully own. **19.2** By submitting Content to StartSport, the User grants StartSport a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable licence, to the extent legally permissible, to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, display, transmit, distribute, and use such Content for: a\. operating the Platform; b\. providing services; c\. processing Applications; d\. facilitating Internship Opportunities; e\. security and fraud prevention; f\. analytics; g\. improving Platform functionality; h\. customer support; i\. communications; and j\. other legitimate business purposes disclosed to the User. **19.3** The User represents that the User has all necessary rights to submit the Content. **19.4** The User must not upload Content that infringes third-party rights. **20. STARTSPORT INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY** **20.1** All rights in and to StartSport, including: a\. trademarks; b\. trade names; c\. logos; d\. software; e\. source code; f\. databases; g\. algorithms; h\. designs; i\. interfaces; j\. graphics; k\. documentation; l\. website architecture; m\. Platform structure; n\. proprietary methodologies; o\. text; p\. audiovisual materials; and q\. other intellectual property, belong to StartSport or its licensors unless expressly stated otherwise. **20.2** Users may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, sell, license, publish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit StartSport intellectual property without prior written permission. **20.3** Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of StartSport intellectual property. **21. CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION** **21.1** Users must maintain the confidentiality of information obtained through StartSport that is reasonably understood to be confidential. **21.2** Confidential information may include: a\. non-public Internship Provider information; b\. Student information; c\. commercial information; d\. pricing information; e\. business strategies; f\. proprietary processes; g\. internal communications; and h\. non-public Platform information. **21.3** The confidentiality obligation survives termination of the User's Account. **22. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES** **22.1** StartSport may integrate third-party services, including: a\. payment providers; b\. authentication providers; c\. hosting providers; d\. analytics services; e\. communication providers; f\. mapping services; g\. cloud services; h\. identity verification services; and i\. other technology providers. **22.2** Third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies. **22.3** StartSport is not responsible for the independent acts or omissions of third-party providers except to the extent required by Applicable Law. **23. AVAILABILITY OF THE PLATFORM** **23.1** StartSport does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Platform availability. **23.2** The Platform may become unavailable because of: a\. maintenance; b\. upgrades; c\. technical failures; d\. cyber incidents; e\. third-party outages; f\. telecommunications failures; g\. governmental restrictions; h\. force majeure; or i\. other circumstances outside StartSport's reasonable control. **23.3** StartSport may perform maintenance without prior notice where reasonably necessary. **24. SECURITY** **24.1** StartSport may implement technical and organisational security measures. **24.2** However, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security. **24.3** Users acknowledge that electronic communications and internet services may involve inherent security risks. **24.4** Users must not attempt to compromise Platform security. **25. PRIVACY AND PERSONAL DATA** **25.1** Processing of Personal Data shall be governed by the StartSport Privacy Policy. **25.2** The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms by reference. **25.3** By using StartSport, the User acknowledges that Personal Data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy and as otherwise permitted or required by Applicable Law. **25.4** StartSport may process Personal Data for purposes including: a\. Account creation; b\. identity verification; c\. application processing; d\. matching; e\. communications; f\. security; g\. fraud prevention; h\. customer support; i\. legal compliance; j\. analytics; k\. Platform improvement; and l\. other purposes lawfully disclosed to the User. **26. MONITORING AND INVESTIGATION** **26.1** To the extent permitted by law, StartSport may monitor Platform activity for security, fraud prevention, compliance, quality control, and enforcement purposes. **26.2** StartSport may investigate suspected violations. **26.3** StartSport may request documents, explanations, or additional information from Users. **26.4** Failure to cooperate with a reasonable investigation may result in suspension or termination. **27. ENFORCEMENT POWERS OF STARTSPORT** Where permitted by Applicable Law, StartSport may, at its reasonable discretion and without liability to the User: a\. issue warnings; b\. restrict functionality; c\. remove Content; d\. suspend Applications; e\. suspend Accounts; f\. terminate Accounts; g\. prevent re-registration; h\. restrict access to specific Internship Opportunities; i\. cancel Applications; j\. withhold access to Platform functionality; k\. require additional verification; l\. restrict payments or transactions where fraud or security concerns exist; m\. investigate suspected violations; n\. report unlawful conduct to competent authorities where legally appropriate; o\. preserve relevant information for legal or security purposes; and p\. take any other action reasonably necessary to protect StartSport, its Users, partners, systems, or legitimate business interests. **28. IMMEDIATE TERMINATION** StartSport may immediately suspend or terminate an Account where the User: a\. materially breaches these Terms; b\. commits fraud; c\. submits false documents; d\. engages in unlawful activity; e\. compromises Platform security; f\. harasses another User; g\. abuses Platform functionality; h\. repeatedly violates Platform policies; i\. creates multiple fraudulent Accounts; j\. attempts to circumvent a suspension; k\. infringes intellectual property rights; l\. creates material risk to StartSport or another User; or m\. engages in conduct that StartSport reasonably considers incompatible with the safe and lawful operation of the Platform. **29. EFFECT OF TERMINATION** Upon termination: a\. the User's right to access the Platform may immediately cease; b\. pending Applications may be cancelled where permitted; c\. Platform licences granted to the User shall terminate; d\. the User must cease using StartSport intellectual property; e\. StartSport may retain information where required or permitted by law; and f\. provisions intended by their nature to survive termination shall remain effective. **30. DISCLAIMERS** To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, StartSport does not warrant that: a\. the Platform will always be available; b\. the Platform will be error-free; c\. Internship Opportunities will always be available; d\. every Internship Provider will meet a User's expectations; e\. information supplied by third parties will always remain accurate; f\. an Application will be accepted; g\. participation will result in employment; h\. participation will result in academic credit; i\. a visa will be granted; j\. travel will occur without interruption; or k\. any specific professional outcome will result from using StartSport. **31. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY** **31.1** To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, StartSport shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or economic losses arising from or relating to: a\. use of the Platform; b\. inability to use the Platform; c\. cancellation of an Internship Opportunity; d\. conduct of an Internship Provider; e\. conduct of another User; f\. visa refusal; g\. travel disruption; h\. accommodation; i\. transportation; j\. loss of employment opportunities; k\. loss of income; l\. loss of reputation; m\. loss of data; n\. third-party services; or o\. events outside StartSport's reasonable control. **31.2** Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under Applicable Law. **31.3** Where permitted by law, StartSport's aggregate liability arising from a User's use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount actually paid by that User to StartSport for the specific service giving rise to the claim during the \[12\] months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. **32. USER INDEMNIFICATION** To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, the User agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StartSport, its shareholders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors, technology providers, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from: a\. the User's breach of these Terms; b\. the User's unlawful conduct; c\. fraudulent information supplied by the User; d\. infringement of third-party rights; e\. misuse of the Platform; f\. violation of another person's rights; g\. Content submitted by the User; h\. breach of Internship Provider requirements; or i\. the User's negligent or intentional misconduct. **33. FORCE MAJEURE** StartSport shall not be liable for failure or delay resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including: a\. natural disasters; b\. war; c\. terrorism; d\. civil unrest; e\. governmental action; f\. epidemics or pandemics; g\. cyberattacks; h\. telecommunications failure; i\. power failure; j\. infrastructure failure; k\. strikes; l\. transportation disruption; m\. border restrictions; n\. sanctions; o\. regulatory changes; or p\. other extraordinary events beyond reasonable control. **34. COMMUNICATIONS** **34.1** StartSport may communicate with Users through: a\. email; b\. SMS; c\. in-app notifications; d\. Platform messages; e\. telephone; f\. WhatsApp or similar channels where permitted; or g\. other communication channels. **34.2** Users are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information. **34.3** Failure to receive a communication due to incorrect contact information shall not necessarily invalidate the communication. **35. ELECTRONIC CONSENT AND RECORDS** **35.1** Electronic acceptance of these Terms shall constitute evidence of the User's acceptance to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. **35.2** Electronic records maintained by StartSport may be used as evidence of: a\. Account creation; b\. acceptance of Terms; c\. Application submission; d\. payment; e\. communications; f\. Platform activity; and g\. other transactions. **36. CHANGES TO THE TERMS** **36.1** StartSport may amend these Terms from time to time. **36.2** The updated version shall become effective on the date stated in the updated Terms. **36.3** Where required by Applicable Law, StartSport will provide appropriate notice of material changes. **36.4** Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of amended Terms constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms to the extent permitted by law. **36.5** If the User does not accept a material amendment, the User must discontinue use of the Platform. **37. CHANGES TO SERVICES** StartSport may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue any Platform service, feature, programme, functionality, or Internship Opportunity, subject to any mandatory obligations imposed by Applicable Law. **38. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT** **38.1** The Platform may contain information supplied by third parties. **38.2** StartSport does not necessarily endorse third-party Content. **38.3** Users should independently assess third-party information before relying upon it where appropriate. **39. REVIEWS, RATINGS AND FEEDBACK** **39.1** Users may be permitted to submit reviews, ratings, feedback, or comments. **39.2** Reviews must be: a\. truthful; b\. relevant; c\. based on genuine experience; and d\. lawful. **39.3** Users must not: a\. fabricate reviews; b\. manipulate ratings; c\. threaten others to obtain favourable reviews; d\. submit reviews in exchange for undisclosed compensation; e\. post defamatory material; or f\. impersonate another person. **39.4** StartSport may remove Content that violates these Terms or Applicable Law. **40. ANTI-FRAUD AND ANTI-ABUSE** StartSport may implement fraud prevention mechanisms, including: a\. identity verification; b\. duplicate Account detection; c\. payment verification; d\. behavioural analysis; e\. automated risk scoring; f\. manual investigation; and g\. account restrictions. StartSport may suspend transactions or Accounts where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, or unlawful activity. **41. CHILDREN AND MINORS** **41.1** Where an Internship Opportunity is available to minors, additional parental, guardian, educational, safeguarding, or legal requirements may apply. **41.2** StartSport may require parental or guardian consent where legally required. **41.3** StartSport may restrict particular opportunities based on age. **42. SAFEGUARDING AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT** Users participating in Internship Opportunities must comply with applicable safeguarding, health and safety, anti-harassment, anti-discrimination, and professional conduct requirements. StartSport may suspend or terminate access where credible information indicates a material safeguarding or serious conduct concern, subject to Applicable Law and appropriate procedures. **43. ANTI-BRIBERY AND CORRUPTION** Users shall not use StartSport to: a\. offer or accept bribes; b\. make improper payments; c\. falsify records; d\. obtain opportunities through corruption; or e\. engage in unlawful influence. StartSport may suspend Accounts and report suspected unlawful conduct to competent authorities where legally appropriate. **44. CONFLICTS OF INTEREST** Users must disclose any material conflict of interest where required by an Internship Provider or StartSport. StartSport may restrict participation where a conflict presents a material risk to the integrity of the Platform or Internship Opportunity. **45. GOVERNMENTAL AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE** Users shall comply with all laws applicable to their use of StartSport, including laws relating to: a\. data protection; b\. intellectual property; c\. fraud; d\. electronic transactions; e\. immigration; f\. taxation; g\. employment; h\. education; i\. anti-bribery; j\. sanctions; and k\. cybersecurity. **46. TAXES** Users are responsible for taxes, duties, levies, and governmental charges applicable to their own circumstances unless StartSport is legally required to collect or remit them. Where applicable, StartSport may add taxes or governmental charges to displayed prices. **47. NO WAIVER** Failure by StartSport to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision later. **48. SEVERABILITY** If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect, to the extent permitted by Applicable Law. **49. ASSIGNMENT** **49.1** The User may not assign, transfer, sublicense, or otherwise dispose of rights or obligations under these Terms without StartSport's prior written consent. **49.2** StartSport may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms to: a\. an affiliate; b\. a successor; c\. an acquiring entity; d\. a purchaser of substantially all relevant assets; or e\. another entity as part of a restructuring, merger, acquisition, financing, or corporate transaction, subject to Applicable Law. **50. ENTIRE AGREEMENT** These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Community Guidelines, and any specific terms applicable to an Internship Opportunity, constitute the agreement between the User and StartSport concerning the Platform. **51. ORDER OF PRECEDENCE** Where there is a conflict between documents, the following order shall generally apply: 1. mandatory Applicable Law; 2. a specific written agreement signed by StartSport; 3. specific terms expressly applicable to the relevant Internship Opportunity; 4. Refund Policy; 5. Privacy Policy, regarding Personal Data; 6. these Terms and Conditions; and 7. other Platform guidelines. **52. GOVERNING LAW** These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, unless another governing law is mandatorily applicable. **53. DISPUTE RESOLUTION** **53.1** The parties shall first attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through direct communication with StartSport. **53.2** Where a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of \[Cairo, Egypt\], subject to mandatory jurisdictional rules and Applicable Law. **53.3** Nothing in this clause prevents a User from exercising any mandatory statutory rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived. **54. SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR INTERNSHIP APPLICATIONS** Each Internship Opportunity may have additional conditions. By submitting an Application, the Applicant acknowledges that the Applicant may be required to comply with: a\. the Internship Provider's policies; b\. the University's policies; c\. venue rules; d\. health and safety rules; e\. confidentiality obligations; f\. safeguarding rules; g\. attendance requirements; h\. dress codes; i\. professional conduct standards; j\. assessment requirements; k\. documentation requirements; l\. travel requirements; and m\. other applicable conditions. Failure to comply may result in removal from the Internship Opportunity without prejudice to StartSport's other rights. **57. CERTIFICATES** **57.1** Where an Internship Opportunity includes a certificate, the conditions for receiving the certificate shall be determined by the applicable programme. **57.2** A certificate may be conditional upon: a\. attendance; b\. completion; c\. evaluation; d\. submission of required tasks; e\. professional conduct; and f\. compliance with programme requirements. **57.3** StartSport does not guarantee that a certificate will have academic, professional, governmental, or licensing equivalence unless expressly stated. **58. NO GUARANTEE OF FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES** Participation in one Internship Opportunity does not guarantee: a\. acceptance into another Internship Opportunity; b\. progression to another StartSport level; c\. employment; d\. promotion; e\. sponsorship; f\. professional representation; g\. admission to an educational institution; or h\. any other future benefit. **59. PLATFORM LEVELS AND PROGRESSION** Where StartSport operates a progression system, including multiple geographic or professional levels, progression shall be subject to the requirements displayed on the Platform at the relevant time. StartSport may modify progression requirements, eligibility criteria, available destinations, or programme structures subject to Applicable Law. **60. BUSINESS PARTNERS AND AFFILIATES** StartSport may cooperate with: a\. universities; b\. sports clubs; c\. sports federations; d\. sports companies; e\. academies; f\. agencies; g\. event organisers; h\. technology providers; i\. travel-related providers; and j\. other strategic partners. Such cooperation does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, employment relationship, agency relationship, partnership, joint venture, or legal representation unless expressly documented. **61. NO AGENCY** Nothing in these Terms creates: a\. an agency relationship; b\. partnership; c\. joint venture; d\. fiduciary relationship; e\. employment relationship; or f\. franchise relationship between StartSport and any User unless expressly agreed in writing. **62. PLATFORM DISCRETION** Subject always to Applicable Law, StartSport retains discretion regarding the operation, administration, moderation, security, commercialisation, and development of the Platform. StartSport may make operational decisions that it reasonably considers necessary to protect the Platform, its Users, its partners, or its legitimate business interests. **63. SURVIVAL** The following provisions shall survive termination or expiration of these Terms to the extent applicable: a\. intellectual property; b\. confidentiality; c\. disclaimers; d\. limitation of liability; e\. indemnification; f\. dispute resolution; g\. governing law; h\. payment obligations; i\. data retention obligations; and j\. any other provision intended by its nature to survive termination. **64. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT** BY CLICKING "I AGREE", "CREATE ACCOUNT", "APPLY", "PAY", "SUBMIT APPLICATION", OR ANY SIMILAR BUTTON, OR BY OTHERWISE USING STARTSPORT, THE USER CONFIRMS THAT: 1. THE USER HAS READ THESE TERMS; 2. THE USER UNDERSTANDS THESE TERMS; 3. THE USER ACCEPTS THESE TERMS; 4. THE USER AGREES TO COMPLY WITH THEM; 5. THE USER ACCEPTS THE STARTSPORT PRIVACY POLICY; 6. THE USER UNDERSTANDS THAT INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES MAY BE PROVIDED BY THIRD PARTIES; 7. THE USER UNDERSTANDS THAT STARTSPORT IS NOT AN EMPLOYER; 8. THE USER UNDERSTANDS THAT ADDITIONAL TERMS MAY APPLY TO SPECIFIC OPPORTUNITIES; AND 9. THE USER AGREES THAT ELECTRONIC ACCEPTANCE MAY CONSTITUTE A LEGALLY BINDING ACCEPTANCE TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. **65.
